SDA members injured in road accident

Several members of the Seventh Day Adventist  (SDA) Church, were injured when a vehicle transporting them to Castries ran off the road, church officials have confirmed.

According to reports, a pick up truck transporting the group had a brake malfunction and ran off the road near La Croix Maingot after 4.30 pm Saturday.

One official told St Lucia Times that six persons, including an SDA Pastor and his wife, were in the vehicle at the time.

The group was said to be returning from church when the accident occurred.

There were no further details at this time.
