Security Company responds

A Security Company  here has  said that it did everything it could in the matter concerning the burglary, rape and homicide at Marisule.

The company was responding to public comments.

A spokesperson for the company told the Times that it did not receive a burglary signal from the home of the deceased,  76 year old Rose Anne Raymond since the alarm system at the home was not armed.

The company official said  its staff were first on the scene, alerted the family  and summoned the police.

Police  reported receiving a report reference to a homicide at Marisule, about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016.

The body of the deceased was discovered at her residence.

She was later conveyed to the Victoria Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
