Security Guard Shot In Castries

A security guard was shot at Balata, Castries, Friday.

Law enforcement officials told St Lucia Times that the victim was taken to hospital.

However the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear.

There are no further details at this time.


  1. This is so sad. There is a photo circulating of the deceased laying lifeless, blood cascading down his face, this is heart wrenching.
    Times are hard and those good for nothing thugs are relentless in their pursuit to gain easy money.
    My fellow St. Lucians be safe.
