The minibus is reported to have collided with the sidewalk before landing on its side after a brake failure.

People on the scene said retired officers and current members of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) rendered assistance.

The SLFS responders said vehicles parked along the street hampered their response to the accident.

  1. The bus driver should be charged with reckless endangerment with a legal weapon (all vehicles are lethal weapons! They can kill!).

His licence should be taken away, until “investigations” have been performed on why his vehicle “collided WITH the pavement”! (The two of them must’ve had an argument.)

I sincerely hope his licence and insurance papers are in order. This is a hefty bill to pay. If passengers started suing negligent bus drivers for their medicals, etc., this nonsense would stop.

It is time to put the “monster foot of the law down”!

  2. This island has no regulations everyone does whatever the hell they want and when something happens no one suffers any consequences except for the victims

  3. Apart from brake failure was the bus overloaded? Was there too much weight hence the reason it landed on its side after hitting the sidewalk. Some of these feel as if they are transporting cargo instead of humans. Service your vehicle man!

  4. When things get hard in St.Lucia, expect bus drivers/owners of vehicles to cut corners when it comes to the general upkeep of their vehicles. The Police and Court system are responsible to keeping the citizens safe by recognizing dangerous trends and arresting them right away. The Officer in charge of Traffic should be sent on desk duty….

  5. The minibus is reported to have collided with the sidewalk before landing on its side after a brake failure. Collided with the sidewalk 😂😂

    • The sidewalk was “walking”!! Wha’ wrong wit’u … read to understand, man! The sidewalk was walking on the side, so the bus decided to hit it!!

  6. When last was that minibus serviced? too many times the drivers are only interested in making the money but failed to maintain the buses. Once again minibus drivers are very careless, overtaking anywhere and anyhow, stopping abruptly anywhere.
I feel sorry for the passengers.

  7. i like how they said retired officers and current members of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) rendered assistance cause the last accident some of you had problems when they said off duty officers rendered assistance. LMAO
