The sister of murder victim Kurt Sylvester has asserted that more good than bad can be said of the deceased, although lots of people will want to say bad things.
“I know a lot of people will say bad things, but there’s a lot of good things to say. The good outweighs the bad – Kurt’s good outweighs the bad,” Sherma Sylvester told St Lucia Times.
Sherma described her deceased brother as a great entertainer who was very jovial and helpful.
Sherma recalled that another brother, Glen Sylvester, who was also murdered, was buried on November 6, 2000.
She said both Kurt and Glen were very close to her.
Kurt Sylvester fell in a hail of bullets Thursday night near the Marc gap in Bexon.
Law enforcement officials disclosed that he was standing near his vehicle at the time of the fatal shooting.
His death brings to 42, the number of homicides so far for this year.
Police said at a news conference Friday that so far they have no leads in connection with the latest fatal shooting.
