Six Year Old Injured In Vehicle Collision At Balata

A six year old was among two persons injured in a collision involving two motor cars at Balata Monday morning, emergency officials say.

The officials told St Lucia Times that the six year old male and a forty year old man both sustained injuries in the collision near Dornelly’s Inn.

According to the officials, the Saint Lucia Fire Service received a call in relation to the accident about 8:10 am.

An ambulance from fire service headquarters in Castries transported the injured to Victoria Hospital, it was reported.

A senior fire service official told St Lucia Times that the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.

  1. With all these accidents or should I say collision why isn’t anyone form Traffic or Transport doing some analysis and looking at a way forward to reduce on them. These so called accidents are costing the nation and affecting personal or families negatively economic wise.
