SLASPA Notice: Status of Airport and Seaport Operations

Castries,  September  28,  2016  – The  Saint  Lucia Air  and Sea  Ports Authority (SLASPA) wishes to advise customers and members of the public that due to the upgrading of the weather system to Tropical Storm Matthew; its Headquarters, Castries and Vieux Fort Seaports will be closed from 12:00 noon today.

The George F Charles and Hewanorra International Airports will also close from12:00 (noon) until the all clear has been given by the Office of the  Prime  Minister.  Persons  expecting  to  travel

should  contact  their respective airlines to obtain the status of their flights and other travel details as there may be flight delays or cancellations. If you are scheduled to pick-up a passenger,

please contact your party to obtain the status of their flight. For information on the status of all departing flights from both airports, please visit the SLASPA website at www.slaspa.comand click the “check your flight” tab.
