Press Release:– The Saint Lucia Blind Welfare Association (SLBWA) will once again reach out to its blind and visually impaired members and their families who are in need of support to cover educational expenses.

On Friday September 25th  2020, the association will make cash presentations in the amount of $500.00 to 23 students from 20 families.

Executive Director Mr. Anthony Avril says there have been many other ongoing partnerships to source support for  the vulnerable.

However, he explained that this particular initiative was made possible through the proceeds of the Independence Ball 2020, which were then presented to the SLBWA by Honourable Prime Minister Allen Chastanet earlier this year.
