The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) responded to a fire in an abandoned boat and two road incidents in the past 24 hours.
On Wednesday at 4:23pm, Micoud Fire Station responded to an incident near the Mahaut junction along the Micoud Highway.
According to SLFS spokesman, Damian Jn Baptiste, two South bound motorcyclists had collided with each other.
He disclosed that responders treated a 30 year old male with significant crush injury to his leg and a 45 year old male with injuries to his leg and arm.
The emergency personnel then transported both to St. Jude Hospital in stable condition.
Jn Baptiste also disclosed that at 4:25pm, emergency crews from Fire Service Headquarters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Choc, Castries.
He explained that an SUV had run off the roadway and crashed into a drain on the roadside.
Jn Baptiste said emergency personnel treated a 25 year old female for minor injuries.
But he said she declined further treatment or transportation and signed the release form.
In addition, the Gros Islet Fire Station went to the scene of a boat fire at the Rodney Bay Marina Boat Yard at 11:48pm.
As a result, they discovered an abandoned fishing vessel and a dumpster on fire.
Jn Baptiste explained that the firefighters put out the fire.
And he said the cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
