Press Release:-  The people of La Guerre in Babonneau are angry with their Parliamentary Representative, Ezechiel Joseph over his broken promise for a new school and that was why he stated in the Estimate Debates in Parliament on Wednesday that the construction of a new school will commence before the next elections.

This is the response of the SLP candidate for Babonneau, Dr. Virginia Albert-Poyottte, to the statement by the Babonneau MP in the House of Assembly explaining his plans for the La Guerre School.

Speaking from the site of the original school where she was a former teacher, Dr. Albert
Poyotte, said that a new school building was long overdue as the present green heart structure was over fifty years old and that it was over ten years since Ezechiel Joseph had promised a new one.

“The people of La Guerre are very disappointed in him and I call on the Government to give
them a decent school so that they can have access to quality education.”

She added that she hopes that Ezechiel Joseph is not making empty promises again and that she will continue her agitation for the new school because it is unfair to the people of La Guerre whom the Parliamentary Representative does not love or care for.
