Press Release:-  The Saint Lucia Labour Party has taken note of a blog being circulated on social media that makes allegations of criminal behaviour by certain Ministers of Government, Police Officers and a Saint Lucian citizen.

The Saint Lucia Labour Party has also taken note of a response to the blog from the Senior Communications Officer in the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Saint Lucia Labour Party vehemently condemns the attempt by the Office of the Prime Minister to link the SLP to that blog as the Party is not in any way associated with it.

The Office of the Prime Minister would be well advised to deal with the allegations raised there instead of trying to deflect attention from this failed UWP Government with its cheap and desperate attempt to implicate and sully the SLP.

The SLP is steadfast in its mission to rescue this country from a UWP Government which does not care about the people of Saint Lucia but prefers family, friends and foreigners, which ignores the suffering and pain the people are currently enduring because of its gross mismanagement of the economy, health care and the COVID 19 Pandemic, our education system, crime and other issues critical to the future of our country and our children.

With only ten weeks to the end of the UWP Government’s term in office, the Saint Lucia Labour Party looks forward to the inevitable general elections when the people of Saint Lucia will rid themselves of this uncaring and incompetent Government and replace it with an SLP administration that will put the people first.
