The Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP) has extended congratulations to students who wrote the 2020 Common Entrance Examination, asserting that Saint Lucia is depending on them.

“We recognize the tremendous pressure that students, parents and teachers faced during this pandemic but as always, you have shown our truly Saint Lucian resilience,” a post on the party’s official Facebook page Monday stated.

“As a party, we are proud that we ensured all students would be offered an opportunity at higher education by building new secondary schools. In the past there were only secondary school places for less than 50% of the students who wrote the exam,” the post observed.

It said the Saint Lucia Labour Party has guaranteed that no child would be left behind and for that “we celebrate with you and your families.”
