Soufriere To Host 1st South West College & Career Fair

Press Release:– Do you want to be a nurse, electrician, hair stylist, teacher or interested in another profession and need to determine which school is right for you? Are you looking for work on a cruise ship? Do you want a promotion or to obtain a certificate, diploma or degree?

Well if you are, join us at the South West College and Career Fair between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm of Wednesday, April 3, 2019, on the Soufriere Waterfront.

The South West College and Career Fair is a one-day event which provides a terrific opportunity for young persons to meet, discuss and get answers to their questions from school admissions officers on their institution’s course offerings; discover and explore other institutions they may not have considered; get information on available bursaries and scholarships; receive free financial advice and learn about available job opportunities in the tourism industry.

Eleven (11) technical/vocational and academic institutions, one (1) employment agency and four (4) financial institutions will be participating.

Members of the public, especially persons from the south and south west of the island are encouraged to attend.  Participation is free.

This year’s event is organized by BrightLight Development and is sponsored by All Biz Ltd and Calabash TV, Choice TV, DBS, Bank of St. Lucia, LUCELEC, Choiseul Cooperative Credit Union, Fond St. Jacques Cooperative Credit Union, Exel Signs, Soufriere Foundation, DIgicel, Dot Com Entertainment, Lionel Electricals and the Soufriere and Castries Constituency Councils.
