PRESS RELEASE: Gros Islet, Saint Lucia (August 30th, 2018): The TimeOut Entertainment team celebrated four years of corporate warfare futsal action at the press launch ceremony at the Financial Administrative Centre on August 29th, 2018. The sports enthusiasts revealed the twenty-eight (28) corporate teams who will be taking part in the highly anticipated games. Futsal is an indoor version of football, made popular in the Latin American countries with many countries around the world and now Saint Lucia, welcoming this energized version as well.

Officiated by Shermalyn Sidonie-John of TimeOut Entertainment, the attendees who represented various corporate teams, sponsors and the event management team, were reintroduced to the rules of the game. The team unveiled the new match format with twelve (12) seeded teams matching up against sixteen (16) unseeded teams for eleven (11) electrifying days of knock out matches. The winning teams will move to the round of twenty-four (24) or group games (R24) while the losing teams, through online votes on social media, have a chance to qualify and be fast-tracked into the R24 games as well.  The TimeOut team is endeavouring to maintain four games each Friday and Saturday (starting Saturday September 6th at 4pm) as the tournament develops, with cash prizes among other tokens to be won.

The Celebrity Match Up is headed by celebrity team captains; DJ Hollywood HP and Ezra DFunMachine.

The competition commences on September 8th at 4pm at the Beausejour Indoor Facility where all teams are expected to be present for the proceeding match pass and the start of the season. Last year’s champion PCD are hoping for a repeat but have numerous teams eager for a change to dethrone them.
