Sri Lanka Denies Dickwella, Perera

By Terry Finisterre

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has denied Niroshan Dickwella a no-objection certificate (NOC) to play in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and will also prevent Thisara Perera from playing in the majority of the T20 league, after the two players – and eight others – refused to tour Pakistan in September and October.
Thisara has already played two matches for Saint Lucia Zouks after initially being granted an NOC.
That agreement, however, was conditional upon his availability for Sri Lanka tours. And although he has refused to go on the Pakistan tour, he now has to return to Sri Lanka.

  1. Yes, great Politicians can admit shortfalls. Problem is there should be a 10 year strategic plan and priorities.
How about Budget and Finances. I thought health and Education would be priority for all Governments followed by transportation.
If the Government is rebuilding the Hospital, then they should be looking at Health Tourism, the airport is only a few miles away, what if there is a major problem.
Build a state of the art hospital Mr Minister. The island has its own beauty for Health.
St Lucia is the best island in the Caribbean offers the best 6 doctors in the world.
I am a nurse by profession and knows the hospital.

  2. Celine ya se de donde venis.Son los curros what really kill us in this island. We want the hospital and we want our stadium back.Suerte
