Stabbing In Canaries

Police are investigating a stabbing incident in Canaries, a law enforcement official has confirmed.

According to information obtained by St Lucia Times, a male individual was stabbed in the neck following an altercation with another man.

His condition was said to be serious.

The incident occurred shortly before 9.00 PM, it was reported.

There are no further details at this time.

  1. The victim dead on the scene. That’s another senseless, killing! Alcohol, uncontrolled anger, and lose of respect for life. What a shame. I’m saddened and shocked that this has happen in my neighborhood.

  2. I have intently listened to the rhetoric of Lucians in recent times. I’ve observed the interaction with one another and it’s often coarse, incendiary and doesn’t augur well for the future. Instead of sympathizing with the relatives of the victims of homicides, these grieving families are often vilified, brutally shamed and dismissed. The society lacks empathy, forgiveness and a soul. We need more community harmony, love for each other and to be our brother’s keeper.
