The Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations wishes to inform Parents and guardians that school will reopen officially for the new academic year on Monday 2nd September, 2019, however, a number of schools will re-open on the following dates:

  • The Micoud Secondary School will re-open on Tuesday 3rd September, 2019
  • The Millet Primary, Morne Du Don Combined and Vieux Fort Special Education Center will all re-open on Wednesday 4th September 2019.
  • Saint Lucia Sports Academy, formerly the Gros-Islet Secondary, will reopen on Monday 9th September, 2019.

All other schools will reopen as scheduled on Monday 2nd September, 2019.

The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused and wishes principals, teachers and students the best for the new academic year.

I’m not against their hustle, but do they have to harass girls, and young women walking by? Must they be smoking on the streets, blowing cancer in our faces? Peeing not to far from the same corner they spend their day.
