Suspected Cocaine Found In Banana Shipment At Port Castries

Customs Officers found suspected cocaine in a shipment of bananas at port Castries on Friday, law enforcement officials say.

The officers found the  2 kilos of suspected drugs in two packets hidden among the banana exports.

They made the discovery about 10.00 am during a routine search, according to information obtained by St Lucia Times.

The Customs Officers summoned the police who arrested two local entrepreneurs in connection with the find.
