Suspected Drowning In Micoud

Police are investigating a case of suspected drowning in Micoud.

Residents of the area say the body of 61 year old Joseph Martial, also known as Bang, was discovered Thursday at Lascelles Point, South of the Troumasse Bay.

Reports from the community say Martial, who lived alone and suffered from asthma, had been missing since Tuesday when he visited the beach.

When he did not return, an alarm was raised and a search was conducted, according to residents.
