An investigation is underway into a woman’s suspected drowning in Soufriere on Sunday.
Details surrounding the incident are sketchy.
However, Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) emergency personnel responded after learning of the incident at about 11:10 am.
Reports indicated that the woman, believed to have been visiting Saint Lucia at the time of her death, appeared to be in her fifties.
There are no further details at this time.
The Soufriere incident marked the fourth suspected drowning in Saint Lucia within less than two weeks.
Two previous incidents occurred in Laborie and one at Cap Estate, Gros Islet.

I was on the same boat trip as this woman. It was a terrible tragedy. She seemed such a vibrant and friendly person. May she rest in eternal peace.

Don’t jump to conclusions. Ask the people who live in the respective districts where the drowning took place. Nothing fishy. The hacks are eager for tragedy to infuse politics and their demonic beliefs into it. When will we grow up ?

What happened ? Did this woman really drown or was her body missing. Suspected drowning says nothing about what really happened. Please clarify this.
