Syrian National Identified As Jacmel Shooting Victim

Police and emergency officials have identified the victim of Monday afternoon’s shooting in Jacmel as a Syrian national.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

It was reported that he was ‘unresponsive’ following the shooting.

A video of a male individual on the ground was posted on social media after the incident, as police cordoned off the area.

Emergency services reported receiving information about the shooting after 2:00 p.m.

According to information obtained by St Lucia Times, the victim was selling items from a vehicle at the time of the shooting.

There are no further details at this time.

  2. Shootings have become a daily norm. Does anyone think that Hermangild Francis should hold on to his job? The man is a disgusting failure. The police and civil society should work together to bring down this runaway crime rate. The government should lead the way but Hermangild is clueless. The man is like a cashier in the cockpit of an aircraft. Can’t work.
