Taiwan Donates Thousands Of COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test Kits

Taiwan this week donated 14,500 COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test Kits to Saint Lucia.

The donation comes amid an unprecedented wave of cases of  COVID-19 here.

Prime Minister Allen Chastanet said this country remains forever grateful to the Taiwanese.

“Since the beginning of the pandemic, our ever reliable friends from Taiwan have consistently given us support to strengthen Saint Lucia’s COVID-19 Response,” Chastanet noted on his official Facebook page.

He said the kits, presented by Ambassador Peter Chen, will further assist with improving efforts in the war against COVID-19.

“Thank you once again to President Tsai and to the generous people of Taiwan! We remain forever grateful,” Chastanet declared.
