A thief was caught red handed at Castries Comprehensive Secondary School (CCSS) yesterday, attempting to make off with a bag of used text books.

According to information obtained by the Times, two young men entered the school compound shortly after noon and forced their way into the Principal’s office.

Two school employees who were on site heard the commotion and went to investigate.

It is reported that one of the young men managed to escape, while the other was held and bound by staff members who summoned the police.

According to reports, he claimed not to know the other young man who had escaped.
