Three Homeless After Castries Fire

Three persons are homeless after an Old Year’s Night fire at Pavee, Castries.

As citizens prepared to celebrate the New Year, fire consumed a two bedroom dwelling house measuring 20′ X 22′, emergency officials said.

The officials disclosed that two parents and their teenage child occupied the building.

The fire, a video of which was posted on social media, is said to have started about 8.00 pm.

The Saint Lucia Fire Service responded with two fire trucks and an ambulance.

No injuries were reported.

  1. The comunity and the simple people will help you with their kind heart Dont forget to thank them

  2. What a way to start the year. Now, this is where when one (or families) are entwined
in a community, be it a cooperation or a combined church family sort of, that all in goodwill
come together as one, to help out – in love – let us show our love to each other since at this
very time was longtime chosen for mankind to celebrate ‘Love’ symbolized as “Hanukkah”
a festival of Lights. For me, I recognize the time as the birth of Christ shown by the Star that
the three wise kings trailed by their faith, to come worship and “give” Gifts to the king of kings.
Now let us together show our love to that family – but – all should learn to operate an Extinguisher.
