Three sisters among five women on bail for Castries brawl

Three sisters are among five women who were charged with various offences, including unlawful fighting and assault, in connection with a recent brawl at Constitution Park in Castries, law enforcement officials have disclosed.

The three sisters were named as Anya, Remietta and Anita Henville  – all in their twenties, according to the police.

Also charged were Crystal Callendar, 26, of La Toc and Kerniele George, 24,  alias ‘Kay Kay’ of Bocage.

They appeared in court on May 30, 2018, accused of having been involved in a fracas on Monday, May 28, 2018, which resulted in one of the females being injured and taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment.

The reason for the exchange of blows, which occurred in full view of passersby, was not clear.

A video recording of the fracas was posted on social media.

The women were released on $500 bail when they appeared in court, it is reported.

They are due in court again on June 14, 2018, according to police.
