Well informed sources identified one of the two Chaussee Road shooting victims as Bernie Edwardville.

According to information obtained by the Times, a lone shooter shouted Edwardville’s name before opening fire on him with a handgun.

Persons nearby reported hearing a volley of gunshots shortly after 7:00 p.m.

When the shooting was over, both the man identified as Edwardville and a woman who was identified as “Africa”, lay bleeding on the ground.
