A woman was getting into her vehicle at the St Augustine campus of the University of the West Indies (UWI), when she was snatched Wednesday afternoon, and bundled into a Nissan Tiida, local news reports have said.
Trinidad Express Newspaper identified the woman as as Maria Dass-Supersad, the Commercialization Manager at the Office of Institutional Advancement and Internationalization at The UWI.
Two men, dressed in police and army uniforms, are reported to have been involved in the snatch.
Trinidad and Tobago police have described the duo as armed and dangerous.
The incident happened about 3.38 pm, the Express said.
Last month, UWI students protested what they described as lax security on campus.
