Two Hospitalised After Motorcycle Collides With Truck

Two persons travelling on a motorcycle sustained injuries when it collided with a truck at Cul de Sac Saturday afternoon, an emergency official has confirmed.

Emergency services were summoned about 2:40 pm, the official said.

Both male accident victims were taken to Victoria Hospital via ambulances from the Castries and Babonneau Fire stations.

Shortly after the accident, videos were posted on social media.

One of the recordings shows one of the men on his back on the ground.

His left knee cap appears to have been ripped out.

The other accident victim lies partially on his side and was reported to be unresponsive.

Eyewitnesses said he was bleeding from his nose and mouth.

The mangled metal of the motorcycle was nearby.

There are no further details at this time.

  2. I know this is the tech age ..but it is extremely disrespectful and uncaring to post pics of situations like this. My God have some level of unto others as you would like them to do unto you. If pics get to family before they are notified by authorities it can cause more harm …folk let us be caring and civil.
