Two Males Charged In Connection With Armed Robberies In Castries

A Special Response Team dedicated to probing reports of burglary, robbery and other thefts, has recorded success in relation to the recent robberies of business places in  Castries, police say.

The Special Response Team, attached to the CID in Castries, arrested two males, identified as  Isaiah Shane Alexander of Bagatelle, Castries,  and Jahshonn Jacob of Monkey Town, Ciceron, and charged them in relation to about five robberies of business places.

Investigators disclosed that during the robberies, gun-wielding perpetrators were able to make off with sums of money and other personal effects, after entering the premises.

Both men who were arrested and charged in connection with the spate of robberies are due to make their first appearance in court on Tuesday.
