On Tuesday night, emergency personnel from the Gros Islet Fire Station rushed two male drivers to the OKEU Hospital after their vehicles travelling in opposite directions collided at Bois D’Orange around 10:30 pm.

A Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) official told St Lucia Times that responders found one of the drivers outside his vehicle complaining of hip pain.

The official said that the other vehicle involved in the collision had overturned, and as a result, responders had to extricate the 38-year-old driver.

Both victims were in stable condition when emergency personnel transported them to the hospital.
