Two Men Taken To Hospital After Road Accident

Emergency personnel transported two men to hospital Tuesday after a trailer truck and a sports utility vehicle collided at the Ti Rocher-Micoud gap, the Saint Lucia Fire Service says.

According to emergency officials, the Micoud Fire Station received a distress call about 9:20 a.m. 

They say a rescue truck and an ambulance responded and found two male individuals on the scene who were involved in the collision.

Both men are reported to have complained of pain to their bodies, were transferred to the ambulance where an assessment was done and taken to St. Jude Hospital.
