Ultra Mart broken into…again

Ultra Mart Supermarket on St Louis Street was broken into during the early hours of this morning. Supermarket Manager Marilyn Henville said an alarm was triggered at about 2:38 am.

Henville said upon arrival at the business place, it was discovered that thieves had broken in and made off with several bottles of alcohol.

She disclosed that it was the second such a break in had occurred at the business establishment.

Henville said she wished the police could do more to stop a spate of break ins at business places in the city.

She expressed the belief that the break in at the supermarket was the work of young people whom she said did not want to work.

According to the supermarket manager, the break in was a setback because the business does not make a big profit on individual items that are sold.
