Unicomer Congratulates St. Lucia Cadet Corps On Its 93rd Anniversary

Press Release:–  The Management and staff of Unicomer (Saint Lucia) Limited
extends congratulations to the Saint Lucia Cadet Corps on the celebration of its 93rd
anniversary of its operations in Saint Lucia.

Founded on July 13, 1929, the Saint Lucia Cadet Corps is a non-profit paramilitary organization, which seeks to inspire young people to achieve success in life, with a spirit of service to their local community and country.

Unicomer (Saint Lucia) Limited through its Courts brand has been a key partner of the St. Lucia Cadet Corps for many years through donations towards its annual camp and most recently, assisting with furnishing the Corps’ new Headquarters at Bisee.

At a cocktail hosted to celebrate the anniversary, Lieutenant Colonel Nathan Hyacinth,
Commanding Officer of the Cadet Corps, reiterated the Corps’ commitment to the development of youth in Saint Lucia and service to our Country.

“We’re happy to be able to contribute to the development of our Country, particularly after disasters. We take our responsibility as Cadets very seriously and are proud to have a team of committed, discipline Cadets.”

Lieutenant Colonel Hyacinth also noted that the Corps would be looking to enroll at least 105 new Cadets for the upcoming School year.

Mrs. Eldri Ferguson-Mackey, Unicomer (OECS) Head of Marketing, stated “What a significant accomplishment to celebrate. To have served a community for 93 years is admirable and speaks clearly to the discipline and commitment of the organization. We are happy to have contributed to their growth and look forward to the continued partnership with our Cadets.”
