CASTRIES, Saint Lucia –Friday, May 20, 2016 – The United Workers Party, at a press conference convened at the Party’s Headquarters today ratified its 17 candidates for the upcoming general election on June 6th, 2016.

Majority of the 17 candidates to contest the general elections have already been launched and are working assiduously on the ground in securing a win at the polls.

All candidates will be officially introduced at a national public meeting to be held on Sunday, 22nd May, 2016, at the Desruisseaux Playing field at 3:00 p.m.
