Victim Of Brazen Shooting In Castries Dies

The victim of a brazen shooting incident in Castries last month has died.

Police identified the victim as Bradley Mc Gawan.

They say he died on Wednesday.

An assailant shot Mc Gawan multiple times in the chest on Chisel Street on Wednesday, January 27.

As a result of the brazen morning incident, an ambulance transported him to hospital.

But he later succumbed.

Law enforcement officials told St Lucia Times that on the same day of the shooting, they arrested a youth in the capital who had an illegal gun in his possession.

The officials said they suspected that the firearm may have been used to shoot Mc Gawan.

However, the officials explained that a ballistic test would determine whether there was a link.
