Two victims of a stabbing in the fishing village of Canaries Monday afternoon are in Stable condition at St Jude Hospital, police say.
The two have been identified as Peter ‘Gros Peter’ Antoine and Kenneth Charles.
Antoine is well known as a seller of herbal medicine, advertising it around Castries with his trademark cry in Saint Lucian creole: ‘Cote ou ne mal la?’
According to residents of Canaries, Antoine had been involved in an altercation with another male a few days previously.
