Eight Hospitalised After Bus Overturns At Bexon

Eight people were hospitalised Monday morning after a minibus overturned at Bexon, emergency officials have confirmed.

Videos of the aftermath of the accident were posted on social media.

The Saint Lucia Fire Service responded after receiving a distress call about 8:15 am, a fire department official told St Lucia Times.

The official said the eight accident victims were transported to hospital by ambulances from fire service headquarters in Castries and the Babonneau fire station.

On Sunday, a Toyota Rav 4 travelling Southbound overturned at Bexon about 2:39 pm resulting in three persons being injured.

A Fire Service spokesman told St Lucia Times all three persons were treated on the scene by emergency personnel and subsequently transported to Victoria Hospital.

    • Lmao you sir are hilarious. 10 points. This is GTA 3rd world s*** hole edition. Cuz GTA has functioning healthcare.

  1. Passengers need to speak up when minibus operators are driving recklessly.
Unfortunately, some don’t mind because they want to get home as quickly as possible.
    Quickly doesn’t mean safely though…

  2. So, I guess the people who got injured are responsible for their hospital bill right. This kind of crap/nonsense really need to stop. Drivers need to understand people lives are in their hands, once you are the operator of that vehicle. Not just the passenger but pedestrians as well. You could have kill people including yourself…DO BETTER.

  3. SMH. I would suspect is speed. Why no Speed Guns and plz don’t tell me we have no Speed Limit. There are several posted along the ECR. Why don’t passengers demand those bus drivers stop when they driving fast. All u have no idea how much alcohol those guys have drunk or of their driving skills but allow them to drive recklessly fast along that ECR with all u. I hope Transport Dept. takes away his license. The man overturn a high top pitbull. ;like seriously.
