WASCO Restores 90 Percent Of Its Operations Post Elsa

Press Release:– WASCO Is please to report that operations at the following locations have resumed:

• John Compton Dam
• Vanard Pumping Station
• Anse La Raye Treatment Plant and distribution pumping stations.
• Bois Jolie Treatment Plant, Dennery
• Thomazo Treatment Plant
• Micoud Treatment Plant
• Patience
• Desruisseaux
• Belle Vue
• Grace Treatment Plant
• Beausejour Treatment Plant, Vieux fort
• Delcer System
• Soufriere except town.
• Toucousson Choiseul
• Canaries

The above represents a 90% restoration of WASCO’s operations.

Operations have not commenced at Hill 20 due to damage to LUCELEC’s power lines at Marquis and Talvan intakes.

Operations at the plant will resume once the power issues are resolved.

Work is also on going to repair water mains to supply the Town of Soufriere.

The supply of water to customers will be restored during the course of the day and in some cases by Sunday evening especially those located at the end of the network and at higher elevated areas.

We continue to work jointly with LUCELEC to resolve the power issues as soon as possible. In the meantime we encourage customers to contact us on the following telephone numbers 4573958, 4573960 or 4519812 to report any faults.

Updates will continue to be issued as our systems become operational.
