Watch: Home Invasion At Cap Estate

A masked intruder with a backpack and a weapon gained access to a house at Gate Park, Cap Estate, on Tuesday and made off with electronic items, reports say.

The home invasion was caught on tape with the recording, which has gone viral on social media, showing the the invader prowling around inside the house.

According to information obtained by St Lucia Times, the presence of the maid in the house appeared to scare the man off and he fled.

“That’s a quiet area and most people are at work during the day, so no one is usually at home,” an individual familiar with the invasion said.

It is suspected that the weapon the intruder had in his possession could have been a pellet gun.

The police are investigating the incident.
