  1. I have to applaud the efforts but that’s just one factor to curb crime. As a society we have culturally been a disrespectful lot. Most of the crimes of senseless murder have been due to personal grudges. At this moment we no longer have gang rivals or gang related crime but cultural norms which leads to disrespect and personal violations which most times goes unnnoticed or unpunished. I’m currently employed but I don’t think about committing crimes but I will kill a man who tries to violate me unjustly friend or foe. I have been oppressed by many and I never have thought of killing anyone until they tried to kill me aka the police unjustly. Self defense is not a crime especially when you are violated. Sadly most crimes in st.lucia are based on pride and ego. Kudoes for the ministry for stepping up but they must also consider labour laws, work ethics, culture and basic respect at the workplace which most times get ignored.

  2. Looks like nobody attended. Why go to all that trouble and not advertise & promote it properly? There are so many avenues for promotion. Looks like just a tick in the box to say something WAS done to help the unemployed. Unfathomable….
