  1. We need scholarships as was available in the past to enable persons to study in the fields of pharmacology, radiology, physiotherapy and laboratory science. This is short term.

Long term develop bacheolorate programmes at Sir Arthur. These efforts can be commenced simultaneously.

    We need support service professionals.

And finally give people better working contracts. People go to where they feel welcomed and supported.

  2. Why is the microscope squarely on pharmacists? What about radiographers and lab technologists? Our health facilities are under staffed and starved of resources. I guess it’s cheaper to hire Cubans than meeting the deserved salary scales of qualified St Lucian health care workers. Brain drain is at unprecedented levels. Is OKEU still being privatized? What about the job security of the workers at that institution? Why are the bargaining agents of staff so silent?
