Wayne Charlery Appointed Deputy Police Commissioner

Wayne Charlery has been appointed by the Public Service Commission to the post of Deputy Police Commissioner.

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force made the announcement Tuesday on its official Facebook page.

According to the announcement, Charlery’s new post becomes effective on June 1, 2021.

He has served as Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for operations and crime management.

Charlery has also served in the past as Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police with responsibility for operations.

In its Facebook post, the RSLPF congratulated him on his appointment to the post of Deputy Police Commissioner.
