There are three (3) categories where three (3) Officers received awards in first, second and third place. The categories are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>1)Top Caribbean Crime Fighter.<\/p>\n<p>2)Top Caribbean Community Policing Officer.<\/p>\n<p>3)Top Caribbean Career Move.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector Shervon Matthieu, Inspector in Charge of the Criminal Investigations Department, Castries won the Top Caribbean Crime Fighter award.<\/p>\n<p>Corporal Kerlin St. Jean who is in charge of the Community Relations Branch of the Vieux Fort Police Station was awarded second runner up in the Top Caribbean Community Policing Officer category.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Superintendent Annanthar Wilson who is the Officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department, Castries was awarded Second Runner-up in the Top Caribbean Career Move category.<\/p>\n<p>The Executive and Ranks of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force wish to congratulate all the awardees.<\/p>\n<p>The Commissioner encourages the awardees to continue making the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force and by extension the people of Saint Lucia proud.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Association of\u00a0 Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP) and the Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) held their yearly awards programme on Monday May 22, 2023 at the Hyatt Hotel in Trinidad and Tobago.
