{"id":162946,"date":"2024-04-16T22:16:01","date_gmt":"2024-04-17T02:16:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stluciatimes.com\/?p=162946"},"modified":"2024-04-16T17:06:51","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T21:06:51","slug":"lucelec-announces-key-leadership-appointments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stluciatimes.com\/162946\/2024\/04\/lucelec-announces-key-leadership-appointments\/","title":{"rendered":"LUCELEC Announces Key Leadership Appointments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following an organizational redesign in support of the Company\u2019s 2035 Strategic Business Plan, St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) has announced new appointments to its Executive Management Team (EMT).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These new appointees are Chief Engineer Gary Eugene who previously served as the company\u2019s System Control Engineer and more recently, its Transmission and Distribution Manager.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ziva Phillips who previously served as the Finance and Accounts Manager was appointed Chief Financial Officer &#8211; the first female to hold that post in the company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sharon Narcisse, who previously served as the Senior Human Resources Manager, was appointed to the role of Chief Human Resource Officer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LUCELEC\u2019s Executive Management Team is headed by its Managing Director Gilroy Pultie\u00a0<em>[POOL-tea]\u00a0<\/em>who was appointed on July 1, 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The EMT also includes Ian Peter, who was appointed to the role of Chief Strategy Officer on July 1, 2023, having previously served as the company\u2019s Chief Financial Officer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Managing Director commended the new appointees on the successful completion of the Executive Coaching Development Program (ECDP) and their subsequent confirmation in their respective roles. \u201cNow that the Executive Management Team is fully established, we can focus even more on forging a synergistic executive led execution of the Company\u2019s business strategy and ensuring operational management of key business decisions,\u201d stated Pultie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The appointments come at a critical time for LUCELEC, as the Company accelerates the pace of transition efforts to renewable energy and the expansion of its diversification strategy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The appointments were approved by the LUCELEC Board of Directors at its 208<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Meeting on March 08, 2024.
