‘Zoom Boy’ Shot Dead In Castries

One man was shot dead at Leslie Land, Castries, Monday evening about 7.oo pm, police say.

Law enforcement officials have identified the deceased as Stevie Sharma, alias ‘Zoom Boy’.

A video posted on social media shows a deceased individual lying face down on the ground with his head in a pool of blood.

A female voice asserts that he had been shot in the head.

The fatal shooting occurred just hours after three men in the same Leslie Land area sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital.

Police told St Lucia Times that one of the three men was shot in the back while the other two were shot in the leg.

There are no further details at this time.
