Good you need to voice it out I find in st lucia they are to slow in dealing with customers. But very quick to collect money from you.is who know you in these offices. Well-done speak out.
This is SO true. So-called Public Servants in St Lucia are completely appalling! Of course, there are the very rare few who actually know what their responsibilities are as PUBLIC Servants – I emphasis the title for obvious reasons, but they are few and far between. Ministers of all departments need to address this dreadful situation, because the infrastructure of our society is declining at a rapid pace, and in the long run will also affect Public Servants too. Think you are superior and living the good life? When criminals come bursting through your door, gangs accost/violate/rape and murder you or family members, or things just don’t get done because of slack adherence to correct and appropriate governance, you will see that you are not immune to these things either. Apply good principles to your jobs and make it a better country for all who live here. This starts at the very top and should be instilled at every level. You take oaths to work for the citizens of this country, please abide by them! Look at Haiti – how do you think that situation arose? People looking out for themselves and their friends, not those they are supposed to represent and SERVE.
Alas I have a very similar story to tell. I dropped off all my papers and submitted my application for citizenship in June of this year 2024 it’s now November some 6 months later and I am back in the UK trying to get any information on my application. After countless emails and attempted phone calls etc I finally get a response asking me how did I apply. Sorry this is not good enough ministry of home affairs. People are relying on you to complete very important documents which are so important to their lives yet you don’t seem to be able to cope at all. What the hell is going on
It’s a joke applied nearly 8 months ago and have not heard a thing. I was told it would take about 3 weeks, how wrong was I. I have tried calling numerous times the phone is never answered. I want to return to St Lucia and enjoy the rest of my life but this citizenship mess prevents me from doing so. Help…..!!!
