Details regarding the two incidents are sketchy.

However, according to investigators, at about 8:30 pm on Tuesday, officers responded to the report of the shooting involving the six-year-old.

At about 11 pm, police learned of another shooting, this time at Grande Riviere, Dennery.

  1. Why u all political drama , like drama like this, what government has to do with crime out there, you have northing good to say keep your mouth shut, listen to Caribbean news,we are still leaving in paradise

  2. It is indeed sad. I too hope that they are both okay.

However, the government caring or not caring, would not change a thing. We, as a nation must change and inspire our neighbors to live within the confines of the law.

  3. Some of your own citizens on island —-

    -condone crime
    -encourage criminals
    -partake of stolen items
    -partake of stolen funds
    -lie for the criminals
    -hide for the criminals
    -involved with criminals
    -engage with criminals

Please understand —-The government has nothing to do with the disgusting/criminal behavior of the citizens on island. You can bring a horse to the water you cannot make it drink. If folk want to change – they will and that is the reality of life.

  4. The only thing Ganstas care for is their Pride, you have to shame criminals. Tie them up in the square and put bare Lo-Lo BeF on their backs and behind, see how much crime stops.

  5. Make everything about government….the pm that sending ppl and kill ppl….dont train urll kids to deal with situations differently….show them love….talk to them…..urll upsetting with this government and that government…..its starts at home…urll condoning all kinds of bad behavior and say government…..pissed much…..🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  6. If the new wage rate does not reflex on your salary slip please call the labour department, NIC, union or the prime minister’s office for redress…

  7. I am not a police officer. I am not in government. I do not have criminals in my family and I do not hang around criminals. I pay my taxes which is more than most and I am a law abiding citizen. IT IS MY RIGHT TO CRITICISE THE GOVERNMENT AND POLICE FORCE FOR NOT DOING ENOUGH. Crime will continue getting worse if authorities continue to play dumb. The government of St Lucia pays so many consultants but can’t get many things right. If the advice from the security consultants is not helping then end their contracts find better. We put them in government to serve us to the betterment of the country. Everyone who continues to parrot the phrase “government didn’t send them to do crime or cannot stop crime” needs to stop repeating the ignorant crap because we do not expect the PM to patrol the streets, we expect them to do a better job and get the help they need to do the job.

  8. There is a picture in circulation believed to be that of the 19 year old who was shot, he has a gun in each hand, one on his chest, and four in his waist, seven guns in all. I wonder if his mother, who is crying now, has ever seen the picture, but to be fair, she did admit that her son has had his nefarious ways!

  9. Crime is all of our business, if you see something say something! It can only take a collective effort on the part of all to defeat this scourge!

  10. Oh Lilly! That crap you stated is so out of place. Did UWP send anyone to kill people when they were in government. Don’t you know that poor governance can create problems at home. No jobs for the parents, no organised activities for the children etc. Government has a responsibility and they are fooling the people. Poor governance emboldens criminals.
