Mother In Distress After Her Only Son Goes Missing

The mother of 32-year-old Marvin Laurencin is pleading for help and desperately worried about her son’s safety after he went missing on Monday afternoon.

Marvin left his home after telling his mother, Susana Thomas, that he was heading to Forestiere, but she has not seen or heard from him since.

In an emotional interview with St. Lucia Times, Susana described the last moments before her son’s disappearance. “He was wearing a dark gray polo shirt,  a grey three-quarter pants with little flowers on it, and black sneakers. He also had a brown-striped Jansport jockey bag, his hair have small cornrows in it” she said.

She says he left without any indication that something was wrong, but his sudden disappearance has caused immense concern.

Susana’s worry grew when she couldn’t reach Marvin by phone the following morning. “I tried calling him yesterday morning at 7 a.m. When I saw he wasn’t in his room, I tried calling, but the phone was switched off. Up to now, it’s still switched off. I cannot get through to him,” she explained, her voice filled with fear.

Susana described her son as light-skinned and approximately 5’9″ tall, explaining how difficult the past few days had been. “I’m very worried. I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, crying all the time. Even though he’s a big boy, he’s 32, but he’s my only son, my only child.”

Marvin’s mother filed a missing person’s report with the police on Tuesday and is urging anyone with information about her son’s whereabouts to come forward.

Anyone who has seen Marvin or knows where he might be can contact his mother at 519-6124 or the nearest police station.
