Relief – Mother of Missing Man Overjoyed As Son Returns Home

A mother’s distress has turned into a wave of relief after her only son, Marvin Laurencin, reported missing earlier this week, returned home.

Susana Thomas confirmed that 32-year-old Marvin returned at about 6:00 am on Friday after a three-day absence from his La Clery, Castries residence.

Marvin had left home on Monday afternoon, telling his mother of his plans to visit Forestiere, but failed to return that evening, prompting concern among his family.

His mother had grown increasingly anxious as the hours passed, unsure of his whereabouts or well-being.

Susana told St. Lucia Times her son confirmed that he had indeed been in Forestiere.

“I feel much better because I was worried,” she expressed.

The mother has extended their heartfelt thanks to the public for their help and support during the search for Marvin.

  1. Is he a special needs adult or mentally unstable or something? Or is this just a case of a very attached and worried mother?

  2. Whilst there is joy and relief that what won’t be called the ‘prodigal’ son returned home, there are a lot of questions waiting to be answered: Who? What? Where? How? When?

  3. Good he returned! Is he a special needs adult or is he not mentally stable. If not! He didn’t see the news, he doesn’t have so social media to see he was missing! To call his mom

  4. Glad to hear he’s returned. I hope he realises the worry he caused his mother and contacts her in the future if he stays away for days and lets her know he’s OK. And @Question, it is very normal for a mother to be worried about any son or daughter who stays away for several days without contact. Surely you know how dangerous this island can be…
