Armed Robber Shot Dead by Licensed Firearm Holders In Corinth

Corinth residents were jolted awake on Sunday as gunshots shattered the early morning silence of the community.

The gunfire stemmed from a failed robbery attempt at a well-known business in the community at about 1:30 am, leaving one of two armed assailants dead after licensed firearm holders confronted the intruders.

According to a witness who spoke to St. Lucia Times, the incident unfolded when two men stormed the business, brandishing firearms and demanding valuables. However, their plans were quickly thwarted.

“We were inside, and two men entered wielding guns, wanting to rob the place, but two licensed firearm holders opened fire. They ran, but one of them was shot. The other escaped,” the witness recounted.

The wounded gunman collapsed just a few yards from the business, succumbing to injuries sustained during the incident. His body was discovered lifeless on the pavement, with a firearm nearby.

Crime scene investigators swiftly cordoned off the area, restricting access to both pedestrians and motorists as they processed the scene. The incident marks the 75th homicide for the year as 2024 draws to a close.

The escape of the second suspect remains under investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.

  1. That’s how you deal with armed robbers, but not everyone will be happy, the so called ‘human rights lawyer’ will say that excessive force was used and that the gun-toting bandit should have been shot in the leg instead! Let’s wait to hear from the ‘enablers of the perpetrators’, so called ‘human rights lawyers’.

  2. This is deserving of a medal. To be exact: Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Saint Lucia (GCSL). Please, don’t sell him short. I would love to introduce him to my sister.

About time someone in the public struck back. Happy no one in the public was hurt. Looks like bail for the one that fled if he is ever caught. What a system! We are supposed to accept these low standards as normal. Just because an inept leader can’t bring himself to admit he can’t do the job.

  3. Let’s give these guys some medals. See what happens when citizens can protect themselves? They protect their damn selves. Police can’t protect. They can’t be everywhere. Stop making it difficult for law abiding citizens to acquire the means to defend themselves. Bandits have guns. We need them too.

  4. Sa ou jwene, chébéy. Now find the other one that escaped by identifying the deceased. I have no empathy for these vermins.

  5. So this is Christmas, and what have you done! Let’s give this Christmas, nothing brings more joy at Christmas than when we give! A gun-wielding bandit was just given a trip to Paradise! As good citizens, it would be good to uphold the tradition of giving this Christmas, to the armed criminals and bandits, give them what they deserve!

  6. F*(K around and find out…why y’all don’t go to school or go find work to do…Sir Arthur has courses, go wash some cars, go bag groceries, go read a book. Jusso yall think people working hard for yall….R.I.P I’m sure he was a “good boy”

  7. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Identify the piece of genetic garbage, go after his known worthless associates and you will find his accomplice, charge him for murder, no bail.

  8. This Christmas so far the news haven’t been good, the West coast road is a shambles, Santa would need a helicopter to bring gifts and to give to the poor. Prices at the supermarket are high, bills cannot be paid. And finally, some good news that’ll make this Christmas merrier: armed robber thug shot dead! The only disappointment there is that one got away to live and rob another day!

  9. I guess the dead man family want justice cause he died on his job. LOL the next bottom feeder s*** his pants running from gun fire and you have gun to. You should stay there and take copper like your soldier on the pavement.

  10. Rule #1 ….neutralize and threat! Why isn’t there a RSLPF “manhunt” appeal for the second rat? Disappointed in our crime fighting strategies time after time, as a former law enforcement officer from trumpland!

  11. Nudge this your feel good day come thru….armed civilians confronting robbers. Yeaaaaah open deh one deh open deh no cutlas we will handle in a more “humane way” more of this, more of this, they should come by you too so you can finally squeeze off a few. I guess I should buy mine it doesn’t any sense having a license and paying to renew it over and over.
